After Le Colombier, Coppa opens another pizzeria in the center of Rennes

After opening the Coppa restaurant, place du Colombier in 2019, Luc Laurent, associated with Antoine Guérot, has just opened another “fast pizzeria” in the historic center of Rennes. It replaces Di Trevi at 32, rue Saint-Melaine, near Place Hoche, which had been closed for two years.

“This second restaurant caters to customers in the historic center, especially students”, says Antoine Guérot. The term Coppa is the same as Place du Colombier. “It is a first class pizzeria offering fast food services. It will be open seven days a week and in continuous operation. In Italy, pizza is a simple and very popular dish that is bought on the go and is not expensive. »

Small fast food

Coppa is like a small fast food restaurant. The pizza is sold from €5. “The ingredients are: Italian tomato sauce, garlic, oregano, basil and parmesan. » Prices range from €5 to €13, with around fifteen simple combinations, most vegetarian, to which you can add ingredients for an additional fee: mozzarella di buffala, coppa, Parma ham…

Beer from local microbreweries is on self-service in the dining room, on a wall. “The customer can taste them in small quantities before choosing the one that suits him. »

Considerable renovation and decoration work has been carried out. The room has about sixty seats with an eight-seat terrace inside the small veranda.
