The salad bar pioneer

Launched first at Héron Parc in Villeneuve-d’Ascq and then in Lomme, the concept quickly found its audience. For the third restaurant, in Noyelles-Godault, it was more necessary to convince consumers. “We had a lead, maybe a little too much at times. Development continued in the south and southwest and in Normandy thanks to the takeover of former Pizza Paï restaurants.

Salad & Co now has 12 restaurants, almost all located in commercial areas. Apart from two corners at Btwin Village and Decathlon Campus, all sales points are spread out 500 to 700 m². Very large formats almost impossible to install in the city center. So to seek out “ultra-urban” customers, the brand has developed a completely new concept. And that’s it Little to the opening of the 13th restaurant will therefore take place on 2 January 2023.

The surface area of ​​this new restaurant concept is significantly smaller: 45 m² with 48 seats. Located at 7 rue Nationale, instead of the sandwich shop Pomme de Pain, the company focuses mainly on sales. “In the summer, people will go away and eat at the Grand Place,” said the CEO.

On the decorative side, you will find a resolutely modern, vegetal and refined design that appreciates precious and raw materials: stone and solid wood bar, wooden tables, rope or cane chairs and vegetal wall…

As for the famous 50-ingredient salad bar, it will always be there as that is the strength of the concept. The products offered are fresh and as local as possible whenever possible. “We are the only ones who offer such a healthy offer with a simple system and a call price of €13.90. If the customer wants to put together a salad with 50 ingredients, he can. We are not here to judge, we are here to please people,” assures Anne Schacht, Marketing Director.
