It will combine the sporting and festive side, and of course disguises will be welcome. Hivernale started from a common idea, or rather two ideas that met. I had this project in mind for a long time and I talked about it with Pierre Garcia, the chairman of the festival committee and also of Asar, an association that provides safety for races and sports events. He also thought of organize an event of this kind in the village. He told me banco and so we pooled our skills”, said Jacky Razon, the local announcer who commentates throughout the year on many foot races in the region.

This event, which benefits from the financial support of the Gard Departmental Council, represented on Monday 19 December by Rémi Nicolas, starts at 18 from La Poste to take a route qualified as “nervous, with a few lifts and turns at right angles”, emphasizes Jacky Razon. The runners will cross the Place Cocconato in the direction of the Clos des Maraichers, the Town Hall and the Salle Fernand-Bedos before following the arenas to return to the departure point.
